Practical answers about renting e-bikes and boats at Fean & Farre in Oudega.
E-bike rental
You book online via our website. Choose your start and end dates, the number of bikes and enter your details. After your reservation you will receive a confirmation by email.
De huurprijs is €25 per bike per day. Het exacte bedrag zie je in het overzicht wanneer je je datums kiest.
Pick-up and return are at Gealânswei 1, 9216 XX Oudega Gem Smallingerland. Pick up from 09:00, return by 21:00.
We have 6 e-bikes available. Current availability is shown in the calendar on the booking page.
Our e-bikes have a range of about 100 kilometres – enough for a full day touring through Friesland.
E-bike batteries are valuable and are frequently stolen. Always lock the bike with the supplied lock and take the battery with you when you park. Never leave the battery unattended on or attached to the bike.
In case of theft, report it to the police immediately and notify Fean & Farre. More rules are in our rental terms (article 6).
Our e-bikes have a Bosch mid-drive motor, low step-through frame and stable handling. Do you have special requests, such as a pannier bag or child seat? Let us know and we will gladly look into the options.
After your online reservation we check availability. You will receive a separate email once your reservation is finally confirmed.

Boat rental

Boats are rented from Gealânswei 1, 9216 XX Oudega Gem Smallingerland, in the heart of the Frisian waterways. From here you can quickly reach the lakes and boating routes around Oudega.
That depends on the type of boat and engine power. We will gladly inform you of the requirements when you book a specific boat.
Strict noise regulations apply in the De Alde Feanen nature reserve. We have whisper boats so you can explore the area quietly and in an environmentally friendly way.
This varies by boat type. Life jacket, instruction and information about the area are included as standard. Ask us for the exact terms for your chosen boat.
Yes, day rental and multi-day rental are possible. Contact us to discuss availability and rates.
In unsafe weather we will look for an alternative date together. If in doubt, always contact us.
Absolutely. We are happy to share tips on beautiful boating routes in and around Oudega, including routes along the ferries and through De Alde Feanen.
